We have just opened a manga Library. Below is the rules of our library
To Become a member, one must donate one Manga book which the library does not already own. This book can become loanable right away by any other members of the library. The new member can also barrow a book right away. We enter their information into our system from a state issued ID and gather Cell phone number and email address. We do not contact customers by Cell Phone other then to remind them of late books.
The Library can be found online, Currently at: librarycat.org/lib/TheAnimeCode
One book may be rented per member and each book should be brought back within two weekends. Upon return of the book the member may rent another book. If missed the deadline before the 3rd weekend a text message will be sent to the member’s cell phone to remind them to bring back the book in question. The 3rd weekend there is no late fees. For the 4th and 5thweekend there start to be a dollar a weekend fee, $1 on the 4th and $2 on the 5th. If the member was to lose the book they can simply order a replacement of the same book or pay the cost of the book for us to replace. To promote the use of the library as a library and not a trading station we do not allow members to replace the book with any other book. Ordering or Shipping the book to our address provided below stop all fees at that time.

I hope everyone enjoys the idea of a Manga Library, but I should add that I never ran a library before, and rules are subject to change without notice.
While I love for the Library to work out great, if the Library was to fail for any reason, including but not limited to by lack of returns or lack of interest, we will post the closing on the Facebook page @ Facebook.com/theanimecode for two weeks any members may pick out any one book from the library and take it home for keeps. This only happens when the library is closing.
