In October it was released that if the Blu-ray Disc and DVD box sets sell more then a combined 2,000 copies before the January 20, executive producer would greenlight a second season of the show. The Twitter account has posted updated sales numbers a few times, including when they got up to 1500 in November.

From watching the first episode this anime is very much a slapstick violent show that don't take violent very seriously. For the monster girl lovers out there, Jashin-chan while is called a demon is a Naga, upper body of a human and bottom of a snake. The first episode also introduce an Angel that lost her Halo out of all things.
