Hidden Gem Review, KADO: The Right Answer

Hidden Gem Review, KADO: The Right Answer

What is the Premise?

Kojiro Shindo and his co-worker Shun Hanamori work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two of them was on a plane that was about to take off before a Cube appear in the sky above the airport. Growing in size and landing the Cube would land on the plane causing all 252 passengers be swallowed by the cube. Later they would find out the name of the Cube was Kado. Shindo was the first to leave the plane an encounter a strange being who assumed the form of a human man. He identify himself as Yaha-kui zaShunina who wish to "advance the world."

What type of show is it?

A Modern Sci-fi anime that focus on the introduction of an "Alien" This anime avoid many of the been there done that themes quite nicely. Our Alien zaShunina isn't from our universe. In a very overly simple way of giving an example of it, if we are in three dimensional space he is from the forth. While that really isn't the explaining they give I rather avoid giving a real explaining. The best thing about this show is the wonder, the question of what he is, what is the goal. To quote him "You must continue to think: am I a foe, a friend? That is right. To constantly think... is the only right answer in the world."

Is it a Hidden Gem?

The thing I hated most about this show is the animation. It's all 3D. But I will say this show is one of the best 3d Shows I seen. Once I got used to it I didn't get that distracted by it. The show didn't seem to foreshadow very well, but all and all the anime is worth a watch. It felt a little rush but being 12 episodes long and isn't left open ended.

Rating : A Rough Gem!
An Anime Worth going out of your way for, for those who like interesting plots with small investment.
